Inner front fender wells

Anybody know if the plastic inserts are needed for a trailer'ed drag car? I can't find a reason to put them back on the car, but I may have missed an IHRA or NHRA rule? Or something else?

I would think that you would be fine without them, but the rules may state something different!

i believe unless your trying to race it in super stock or stock elim. where you can't alter body mods or remove factory equipment you would be OK to leave them out, the only thing that i noticed leaving them out was a little bit of wind noise from the door seals

Looks llike street out law or what use to be called hot rod once I ge the car built I'll know better. I'm buildinfg for both NHRA and IHRA, mostly safety issues, and unlimited mods to motor both S/C and NOS? any comments would be good, like I say it has been 20 years since I build my last drag car.
