LS2, have u ever had your car weighed?

i need to know about how much of a weight advantage i have over my friend with the 06 gto.

I never had, i thought about going to a scrap yard one day and just going on the scale saying i have metal in my trunk then just driving off after they give me my weight... HAHA

On my forum though, it ranges from 3800-4100. REAL weight not curb weight. I think its safe to add another 200lbs to ANY CAR, even stangs in addition to curb weight. So in all reality unless you strip your car, its safe to just to by curb weights, just have to stay proportioned; either talk about race weight or curb weight... Alot of people like to mix them up.

But just like every car ever made there are lemons and there are very good cars made so thats why i said 3800-4100. Its safe to say with just me in the car its around 3900lbs. I feel bad for the srt8 Chargers, 4150 curb weight.. OUCH

the SRT8 Chargers are about 150 pounds heavier then the SRT 300's

I routinely beat GTOs at the track. They are pig heavy and the IRS causes problems with launching them.

btw... i have beaten a ls2 gto... maybe it was cuz the guy could not drive but i beat him twice from a dig... i have a video of it but i dont have a cable to connect my camera to the computer... i posted the story a while back and had to argue with everyone but i did beat one... so i dont think a termi should have much problem with one at all seing as all i have is a gt...

nice garage... how come u runnin a 2.4 60' wit 555rs? 107 trap speed should be 12s. get that 60' down and there ya go... nice setup by the way. bet it pisses a lot of egotistic gt drivers off. lol

yeah thats my fastest. on street tires. the track elevation(LACR) was 2710 ft. if im not mistaken. they had an elevation correction formula on their website and the 13.2 converted to a 12.8 at sea level.

yeah i am surprised at how close our races were when we raced from a roll. from a dig hes no problem but he gives me a damn good challenge from a roll

my tranny went the other night i think its helped lead to my shitty 60s a lil
coming back built, 8.8 rear aluminum flywheel
different gear ratios
i'll be wanting 12.6s

yeah.. im puttin a built tranny in my car right now... its been up on jack stands for two weeks now cuz i can find the spare change for a stage III clutch and flywheel... i hate payin notes on the car and it sitting up on jack stands and me not being able to enjoy it. ha
