Launching

I have a V6 with a M90 eaton supercharger and 4R70w Auto.
What is the best tactic for launching with an Automatic?
When the light changed I just basicly punched it.
I was on street radials and ended up with the following:

2.096 60ft
13.938 1/4 mile
102.64mph

19.9 at 102????? damn!! you are spinning you ass off. i will start off by saying you need traction!!!! buy yourself some drag radials!!!

with street tires though, you have to play with it and find out where the spinning point is. try not giving it so much gas at launch. thats not really a bad 60ft ft at all.

You can hold your left foot on the brake and the right on the gas and ease up to about 1400 rpms on the stock converter for the 4r70w before breaking loose the rear. I just go from idle on my 315/35/17 street tires and t lok rear because any higher starting rpm and I will spin through the 60'. On street tires and my n/a 6, I get a 2.2 60', but if I had the balls to put sticky tires on my 7.5" rear, I could cut it down to a 2.1 easy.

I'm not one to make things up.
I have been told a 13.9 with a 102.6mph means I have a traction issue.
I did not notice excessive tire spin, but I did not seem to leave the line very fast.
