Off to the strip

I'm going to the drag strip for the first time. I know most of the stuff i'm going to ask depends on conditions and stuff, but I just want a good foundation on where to start.
I'm running Falken street tires for now, on a 2000 GT.

1) Whats a good RPM to launch at?
2) Traction control= Off? Am I right?
3) What are some times I should be running. I have a 2000 GT 5 Spd, with an O/R x with a MAC cat back.

1) 3000-3500
2) Traction control OFF
3. If its your first time you will prolly run in the high 14's low 15's you first couple runs. Once you get your 60' times down, then maybe mid 14's. Low 14's if you run it perfect.

i ran 13.96 with magnaflow o/r x, magnapack cat back, and triax when i first got it.

Alright, yeah thats really was I was thinking but its good to hear that from others. I have been doing great launches around the street, but I know the track is much stickier. I have been doing launches at about 2500, and the tires don't really seem to be spinning much at all. Hopefully I can push it a little higher.
