Cheap ways to make a 96 mustang gt run mid to low 13's
Currently all I have done is a throttle body, cold air intake, catback exhaust, mickey thompson street drags, and i have new headers and x pipe sitting in my room. With this I'm running mid-low 14's and have yet to break 13's. Any suggestions? :award

100 would do fine. also put some 4.10 gears into it and youll get into the 13's no problem. and make sure you get a tune to pull some timing when you shoot the n2o. the gears are the best bang for the buck mod youi cn put into your car.

Is it a 5 speed car? Learn how to drive it and I don't mean that in a bad way. Learn how to launch it and power shift it and it will go faster. That car should have no problem at all running in the 13s. My brother in laws bone stock 95 Cobra was ran 13s with 3.73 gears on street tires.

I have 4.10 gears and it is a 5-speed. I finally got my launch/reaction time down. i'm running mikey thompsons with about 10psi at the track. So the best bet would be 100 shot?

also remeber that with gettin higher shots of nitrous requires you to retard the timing a couple degrees. The first 50 is fine, but once you get to higher shots like 100 you should retard the timing.

If you are just looking for a high 13 run the 50 would work fine but trust me you probably won't be satisfied......
I've heard many people say they would be satisfied with 9's....... 2 weeks after they were running 9's all day they said that they need to get into 8's...... Just go for the 100..... |
