another night of exciting drag racing

I changed my valve springs last week and went to the track last night for the first time since I changed them. I picked up 3 tenths with the new springs. Almost crashed hard as well. I raced a 66 Chevy II and we both left the line doing big wheelies. I was in the right lane and my car was steering left on the rear tires and shaking the tires horribly. He was in the left lane and his car was steering right while he was on the bumper. Luckily the horrible tire shake forced me to get out of the throttle because just as I did he came crashing down in front of me. He quickly steered back into his lane to avoid hitting me and lost total control of his car. Thankfully he saved it around the 1000 foot mark and coasted thru the lights. At the end of the night we rematched and he beat me by about 2 car lengths. Here are some videos.
