Night of Fire

Oh MAN!!!

I had a blast at Jackson, SC- Carolina Dragway- this past Saturday. The night was full of 1/8 mile racing with IHRA Top Dragster, Quick 8, and much much more. They had 2 jet cars run the 1/8 at 227mph in 3 seconds. There was a Jet Big Rig that burnt down the old tower and the fire crew was watching it all for safety. Big fireworks, big gambling by the blacks... Fun time! My cousin and uncle didnt drag though because my cousin chose to go to a bridal shower instead. We had the best time laughing about everything. I might start going to the Thursday night races when I get closer to doing my 8.8 rear with 4.10s. I want a good before and after comparison.

Sounds like a good ole time. They actually used a jet truck to urn down a water tower for entertainment? Sound like my kind of fun.

Yep, and when the truck got the fire started, the gasoline bombs in the tower exploded (crazy man) and the truck went down the 1/8 and set the grass on fire along the walls. Insane fun time. Many drunks were out when leaving and one guy in a brand new chevy avalanche tried to cut people off in the exit line and wrecked headlong into a ditch, very bad looking truck after the nose dive.

that is the view we had. we were front 2 rows of bleachers right at starting line just past the tree. we saw and heard some insane burnouts and launches- best seats in the house. and you could feel the heat rise soo much when the tower burnt. awesome time!

there was a jet powered transfer truck, and four wheeler, and porta john at a car show i wen to last weekend.
