if the stager knows what he's doin he will back you up enough to have your tires on the edge of the waterbox. you're not supposed to put your tires in the puddled up water,just where the concrete is wet.

if you do that then you should get any water in your tread.

whatever u do, DO NOT listen to someones advice if they try to tell u to put the tranny in nuetral, rev it up, and then slam er' in low 1st gear. its not worth it. actually your tranny might have a safety feature which wouldn't allow that anyways

+1 that is a sure way to quickly destroy your tranny. please don't do that to your toy

put it in 1st and when the tach gets just before redline, shift it into 2nd and so on.

you need to go multiple times paying very close attention to what rpm you shift at. try to change it up a little to find the best rpm to shift from. just taking it to the redline everytime isn't always going to give you the fastest time. if you go to high you may be getting a little slower. just takes a lot of passes and changing it up remembering which one ends up in the faster ET
