ANYONE go to LACR on Fridays for T&T??

Heard they do a test & tune night @ LA County Raceway in Palmdale for pretty cheap on fridays... anyone in the LA area check it out? I've never actually raced this car (well, maybe a little f**kin around on the street) and I'm interested in goin to a track so I don't have to worry about gettin my car impounded. And it would be cool to go with some fellow stangbangers. Lemme know..

i live right above Palmdale. thats where i used to run. as far as i know LACR's still closed down. where u located?

Yap they closed it down, I think from what I read on their web site they are looking for a new location. Sup will...

Really busy at work and hangin with the girlfriend, I need to get out and have some fun. Only bad thing is one of my rear shocks broke, I didnt even know about it till I took it in for a oil change and they showed me it. =( On the good side though, I got myself a X pipe with magnaflow exhaust.

So when you having a cruise? If you get something going on let me know, hopefully it lands on one of my days off.

Hell yeah brother. since we raced at lacr i got a new x pipe too. bassani 2 1/2 in. with two highflow cats welded in for smog. it made a lil bit of difference. i think i might have still had the stock mufflers when i met u. now i have flowmaster super 40's and a FILTHY air filter, lol. im sorry to hear about your broken shock. hope u get it fixed soon. i dont have many plans coming up. my girl and i are gonna dress up and check out some halloween parties. im sure me and the guys will most likely do a canyon run sometimes soon. feel free to come out if u wanna get out of town and hang out with some other car guys. we went to the local street race sat. night. only person i raced was my friend with the 06 gto. i heard theyre gonna happen regularly now again. so that would be an option of something to do.

Whats up guys? I live in Lancaster and raced at LACR all the time. I miss and hope they open one up soon.

they should move the palmdale track to irvine or some where close so i don't have to drive 40 miles just to get to the pomona track

Yeah I hope they hurry up with that track, Im going to famosos when it opens up this weekend. Hopefully I dont get out of work to late, I hate getting there late because it gets crowded as heck. Thats the only reason I dont like famosos. LACR was bad ass because you can get as many runs in as you wanted, Famosos you have to wait a long ass time just to get a run in. I think famosos would be cool if you can get there early but my job does not allow it.

4am to sometimes 8pm depending how much work is going on.
