Here is my best time so far with my '91 LX 5.0 hatch... Iv got Flow 40's, O/R H pipe, K&N panel filter, subframe connectors and a strut tower brace. For this run I had a borrowed set of Nitto 555R's (275 wide) on 17s and I took off the front sway bar. Im not sure what the temp was but it was a warm, dry evening. My car weighed roughly 3300 lbs:
R/T .336 60' 2.225 330' --- 1/8 9.513 MPH 75.01 1000' 10.533 1/4 14.674 MPH 95.95 |

My best this year was in TN at English mtn raceway. The race weight is 3780lbs, full interior, t-top, 17"x 8" TTII's in front, 15"x 10" slicks, on a daily driven Grand National.
reaction time: 0.087 60 foot: 1.592 time: 6.764 mph: 104.31 This was runing 27lbs of boost on 93 pump gas and Straight Methanol Injection with a Precision PT70GTQ turbo. with low timing.. SOLD! moving onto a mustang next...

my time is under my av.
that was when I first got the car, and all that was done was a short throw shifter, off road h pipe, and the backseats/spare tire removed. I had toyo proxes 275 on the back, @ about 30psi

Yes the 1/8th! and in the 1/4 that was a 10.53 pass..
Nice car you got! Did you ever think about a running a progressive methanol kit like i was using? I think you would see 400rwhp with it and the boost turned up and still run 93 pump gas!!!

Water boiling point = 212* F / Octane rating- 0 Windshield fluid 50/50 mix = Boiling point-180*F / Flash point-82*F / Octane rating-61.5 Straight Methanol = Boiling point- 147*F / Flash point-51*F / Octane rating-123 You can do what you like, but I have true results with numbers using straight methanol.. It doesn't meen you HAVE to run it to the ragged edge. it can also be used mildly too. Look at your windshield washer fluid resivior and I'm sure you will see the blue flacky crud all around it. Do you really want that in your engine, Pump, and lines? I sure don't. |

winsheild washer fluid is not the only thing that is able to be ran through the system. you can go to a chemical place and get strait methanol and mix your own. regaurdless what you may have seen and have heard, there are reasons that you dilute it, and why its recommended.

lot of difference in a stocker v6. big difference when you try to step up the the 4.6 and do that. the fastest 2v's on stock bottom ends are just making it into the 10's. and there are only a hand full that are doing that. i have seen cars go that fast with a 50/50 mix. they are making a lot more power and dont need the strait methonal. how is you v6 car 3780??? i am a fully dressed v8 and weigh an estimated 3400+, that # is probably closer to 3500. i know about the methanol injection as well, not a new thing to me. you want to mention my car and only 12's, look at my garage. for power parts i dont have much. with a 125 and contentions to break 12 n/a and 11's on juice that is doing damn good. my times has never had anything to do with this. there was no reason to to even bring my times into this.
