Post Your Best 1/8 And 1/4 Mile Timeslips!

OK, lets see how well you have run this past race season!

Post your best 1/8 and 1/4 mile timeslip. Also, list your mods and what tire and pressure you used, sea level, temp, and humidity if you can recall it. If you have a video or scan of your timeslip, lets see it!

See my Garage link in my sig for mods.

Car #22, June 09, 2007 and the temp was in the 90F's and don't know the humidity. I think sea level is between 400-600ft. The run was on stock Goodyear skaterbacks 245-45-17's with about 25psi in the tires.

My junk:

Best 1/4 mile at Beech Bend KY. Car #22

Best 1/4 mile at Music City Raceway in TN. I think this run was in May at night in mid to low 80F. I can't recall the humidity and I think the sea level is between 400-600ft. he run was on stock 245-45-17 Goodyear skaterbacks with about 25psi in them.

My best ever 1/8 mph is 82.00

i dont have a vid of it. i still have the timeslip but i dont have a pic of it. i'll get one and put it on here when i get my photobucket account fixed. so ill just tell u about my best run.

03 cobra: street tires, heavy duty clutch, bassani x pipe w/two high flow cats, flow super 40's, cai
track: los angeles county raceway. 5100 ft. above sea level. i dont remember the humidity or temperature. it was cool outside though with light breezes.
my 60ft. was 1.8. my et was 13.2 and i think my mph was 109. that et coverted out to a 12.8 at sea level with the track's elevation correction formula.

I hate to be the chump that has to follow Darrells times.....

but here goes.

I don't have a pic of the time slip but if it's really important I can get one on here. Mods were cai, off road x pipe, weld in flows, 4.30's, an intake spacer and a tune from VMP tuning. Stock rims with 275/45 m/t drag radials.

R/T: .137
60' 1.754
330: 5.249
1/8: 8.111
MPH: 86.21
1000: 10.569
1/4: 12.645
MPH: 108.70

Since then I've beefed up the rear end and gotten larger d/r's. I haven't been able to improve on that time yet.

Gotta love those Mach1's! For the mods, that's getting it done!

I've thought about swapping up to DOHC using 04 Mach1 parts, but I just want to see how far I can go with the PI first since it only has a few thousand miles on it right now.

Well, I shaved 0.02 off my 1/4 mile today.

61F, 57% humidity, 29.99in pressure, wind 8mph SSW.

2.04 60ft
8.75 1/8
81.86 mph
13.56 1/4
102.94mph

Tell me if this timeslip picture shows up for you all.

Best mph today was 103.45 and I'm sure that pass would have been a 13.54 or better if I hadn't spun out of the hole.

I still didn't hit 13.3x like I wanted to. I know the car has it, but getting it out of the hole on stock 245-45-17 Goodyear skaterbacks is a real task. I'm actually shocked I can cut 2.04 60ft's with those shotty tires.

The 13.58 at 103.36 was run at the same track in June with temps in the 90F's. With the air being cooler tonight, I should have run quicker than I did.

There was one thing that could have slowed me down and that was the belt slipping. It actually flew off at the top of the track going over 100mph and that made my brakes and steering almost not work. I thought the light squeak on start up was a pulley from sitting and getting moisture from the humid morning air, but now I know it was the belt.

It seems I can't get more than 15k miles per belt.

I fixed it. It should have read 3016. I trimmed her down to the 2850 range this year but only made 4 passes on it and hurt the engine. I was shooting for high 8s this year but was unsucessful.

ha, yeah right. i'd have to beef up the rear susp. before i could even think about 11's. plus i would have to be at a track near sea level.
