A Good Combo For A 347 Stroker, 66 Muzzy


I HAVE A 66 MUSTANG WITH A 347 STROKER , ROLLER BLOCK, SO I AM GOING SOLID ROLLER CAM, MY QUESTION IS , CAN ANYONE OUT THERE RECOMEND A GOOD PROVEN COMBO ??? I WANT TO RUN HIGH TENS 1/4 MILE .I WILL BE USING A 750 MIGHTY DEAMON CARB, BUT NOT SURE WHAT MANIFOLD, I HAVE ALUMINIUM VICTOR JUNIOR HEADS, SCAT STROKER KIT 10.8 COMP, 4000 STALL IN A STRONG C9, 9IN DIFF 4.11 RATIO. THANKS

Welcome to MM! Is it me or is that a left hand drive Mustang? If so where, what country are you in and how did you come by that(DIY?) Car looks great and I would suggest an Edelbrock Super Victor Intake. That should work nicely.

Hey, thanks for replying, i decided on the victor junior, not the super victor, as i think i would lose air speed and go backwards. This enginge will be reving to around 7200 rpm, the victor junior is rated up to 8000 rpm, and the super victor is for 4500 to 9000+ rpm, much bigger comp required. I live in Melbourne Australia, and yes what you see is my doing, paint and all. the muzzy runs 11.5 quatre mile with a soild cam at the moment. now going to a solid roller, hoping for quicker times. cheers mate.
