Rear Diff Build-Up

If I want to launch my stang at around 4-5000rpm's what should I have as upgrades to the rear end? It's a 99 GT with 4:10's and I want the rear end to be able to withstand up to 750rwhp and 750 torque. I have Strange 31 spline axles on the way and want to get a locker set up but not sure which one to go with, any suggestions? Also, should I weld the axle tubes and what does that do and any suggestions on how to keep it from warping?

Thanks

Is your car a daily driver? If so, I wouldnt get a spool. Just get a strong diff like Eaton, Auburn, etc... Also welding the axle tubes is a great idea, also might want to weld your torque boxes while your down there. A rear end girdle might help as well.

750hp? Mark Wiliams or Strange 35 spline axles, spool, jig welded housing, axle bracing and 9" housing ends to name a few things. A roll cage will be mandatory too or you will never put the power to the ground. What are you going to be using for a transmission? How do you know the horsepower? Do you already have the engine and have it dynoed.

No I don't have the engine yet but I know what I want to buy and everything. I'm getting a twin turbo and fully built motor for it. I just want to do things the right way and build up my drivetrain first in order to hold pretty much whatever I throw at it. My reasoning for the drivetrain first is I built up the motor in my first stang which was a 91 conv with the 5.0 and broke thing left and right until the drivetrain could handle the power, so this time I want to do it the other way around and not have to worry about my car being down. I'll be using an MMR Pro Trans 900 5-speed transmission. So, for the axles use 35 spline rather than the 31 spline? What kind of spool? Where can I get the axle bracing and 9" housing ends at for a good price? Where can I get the jig welded housing from and is it still the 8.8 housing and bearings?

Have Team Z Motorsports build you a rear axle. It will handle anything you throw at it.
