where at in texas did you run your car. And i think the 60 needs to be under 2 for better results. BUt ive only ran my car once and got a 9.0 . forgot the 60 and trap. i know it was really bad.

I took it to Texas Raceway (Kennedale). I think I might go to the quarter mile track in Ennis next time.

Do you think the 60 times are bad because of my stock suspension or lack of experience?

So you were spraying and ran those times???
If so....no ffense. But that is HORRIBLE. Put a sticky tireo n there, powershift and go high/mid 7's. All I have is 4.10's, ET Streets, OffRoad h-pipe, and NX 100 shot. Last night I cut a horrible 1.88 60ft and still went 7.88@89MPH......Next pass SPUN to a 2.0 60ft and went 8.0@90MPH. My best so far is 7.60@90mph....and you have more mods than I do. Also, my car with my moms ON MOTOR goes 8.5's/8.6's consistantly.

Yeah, with nitrous you should be closer to 8.0x... If your 60' time was in the 1.8 range that would be the biggest help for lowering your ET. The problem with your 60' is probably a combination of both stock suspension and your new at the track. You should get some new upper and lower control arms, that will help out a lot with the 60' times. Then of course some sticky tires.

Yea I thought the times were a lot higher than they should be. Couldn't go last week because of rain but i'm going to try to go next thursday. I'll post the times after (hopefully they will be lower).

I have Nitto drag radials so traction wasn't a problem. I wasn't flipping the switch for the nitrous until second gear though. Should I have it on from the beggining or do you think it will cause the tires to break lose? I don't know why I didn't try it from 1st I just assumed I would lose traction.

I never could get very much traction with nitrous in first, and I was running MT et drag radials... There's a good chance you will loose traction first. Maybe look into a progressive controller for the nitrous delivery.

Big improvements: 6.5 sec @ 110mph! I wish... Haven't gotten a chance to go back yet.

I just got back from the track and the times are better but should still be lower. It was packed, I only got three runs in. The guys in the tower lost my time slip for my best run but my friend said I got an 8.31 @ 83mph. 3/10 of a second off but I think it could still be better. I'm getting some wheel hop at the beggining and I think it's killing my 60' times. I'll post a video of the run later.
