The day has come-Turbov6 track day

so since Jan19th when i blew my tranny and rear my car has been down til last wed. i've broken in the clutch over 500miles now and im ready for the track today

re-tightening my header bolts and exhaust clamps. changing the spark plugs as well. got 600miles on oil so looking good. i will be trying out my snorkel, tuba, w/e you may call it at the track
the time for 12s have come
since my last visit at the track ive upgraded to:
detriot trutrac-good for 400rwtq+ on the 7.5
aluminum flywheel
aluminum driveshaft
G-force built T5 2.96 first gear
stage 2+ clutch.

my previous 60ft was 2.138 with the shity ford racing tlok
and a time of 13.110 at 106.99 mph

anything with a 12 will make me happy tonight. wether its 12.9999(eh not really)
i'd love a 12.8

or better. but i'll see!(w/snorkel)

time to work up the sixer

just checked the header nuts and studs they're good. crossover bolts and nuts are good
spark plugs are great for once not just black and carbon'd up
removed the rear seat
didnt take of the front sway bar...decided my mph should set me in the 12s anyway

was yesterday. only ran twice...shoulda practiced a little. forgot my first gear was longer..so bogged like hell on my first launch...
only got 2 runs =/
the second i spun got a 2.280 60ft =/ and pulled a 13.2 at 108.66mph

im going back this Wed.
my first gear is so long that second gear is almost usless

my first gear is so long that second gear is almost usless

I guess you were granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake...

I am very interested in your setup.Mainly the t-5 built and alum flywheel.Do you think the first gear is going to help you?Do your launches feel less powerful?

with that mph, he's looking at about 310 to 340 ish to the ground. a little broad but the car may be light. real light

I put down 338 on a Mustang Dyno and trap 112-113MPH in the 1/4.....So I'd say he's only dyno'ing 300.....310 on its best day.
