first time at the track!!!


Ok I went to the 1/8 mile track for the first time today with the 93.
I have to say it was a blast I will be going back again.

here is what I ran today

1st run
rt .799
60' 1.830
330' 5.325
1/8 8.054
mph 89.84

2nd run
rt .592
60' 1.802
330' 5.207
1/8 7.845
mph 90.36

I ran a total of 4 time the other 2 sucked.
Let me know what all of you think.

wat kinda mustang where u running, v6 or gt, and any mods? those look to me like some pretty respectable times for 1/8 mile runs for first time

Well its a 93 lx hatch with a blown 331 with 10# boost. I am at 500hp and 454tq to the wheels.

some good times you got there, not bad at all for a first timer, as long as you make improvement every time you go, you couldnt ask for more. gotta be honest, every car is different but i trap 88mph in the 1/8 and my car is a stock 02 ss. so i dont know if you have 4.10's or something but food for thought. no critisism just a heads up

I was happy with my runs not bad for my first time to run. I have 3.73's.

I just need some more practice and those times should come down quick.

Yeah, that's not bad at all. I think you could get a little more out of it, but those 60' times are pretty good for a first time.
