Went To The Track

Well I finaly got to go to the track ran a 14.48 with my stock 2000 GT. I went out to Fontana CA and only got to make two passes because of the amount of people. Is it like this everywhere? Do you east coast guys deal with this or is it just a so cal thing?

its usually not that bad when i get out to darlington.just depends on the night i guess and the weather.i usually make about 6-7 passes. if they didnt allow bikes to run there would be a lot less people there.last time i went out there were a lot more bikes than there was cars.

There was about 400 cars and maybe 10 bikes. We only have the races once a month so everyone shows up. I had to get there at 5:00 am for racing that didn't start till 9 am.

Nice times...They will get better...

The tracks are pretty crowded up in VA but no where near 400 cars...

I'm gonna try and head out to LA raceway next weekend it's not that croweded there. What do you guys think it would take it run a high 13? Full bolt ons? I wanted to go with a supercharger but tuition just took all my funds for one. I would like to do it without nitrous couldn't afford to blow a motor.

To run high 13's you need to get alot more seat time...Get a mid-pipe and gears and you should hit high 13's...A full bolt-on gt with some nice tires and an awesome driver can see low 13's...

Nitrous wont blow your motor if it done right...A good kit, good tune, and the right safety equipment i.e window switch/wot switch/fuel pressure safety switch and you can run nitrous on a stock motor all day long...

it kinda annoys me when bikes go to the track. i know they have the right, but it slows things down, and we already know most of them are fast hahaha

yea they should have a seperate night for the bikes.they definitely would make enough money to keep the track open that night to make it worth it.

We have TNT every Fri...usually it is not the bikes that crowd us, it is the ricers...wayyyyy too many...

either way, I usually get in 4 runs...I could get in more, but I do what I need to do in those 4...
