hey no problem i dont care what people talk about in my thread. as long as their talking. nothing like throwing a party and noone shows up. The old hurst is alright. You will still have to watch the 2nd to 3rd under torq just like on the stock shifter. that was the downside to it. i missed 3rd a few times with that shifter on the road course. you gotta let of the gas a little, full throttle it will bind and you just cant get it in third. I was worried about this hurst. but no problem just keep the gas mashed and go. the shifter is unnoticable at the track and thats what you want. actually its better at the track then on the street.

i NEVER miss 3rd at the track (knock on wood).........i always miss 2nd?!?!!? WTF is wrong with me lol.......but i let off the gas and shift, but i am a pretty decent shifter (NEVER owned an automatic, been through 5 or 6 vehicles)......

Very nice runs, Richard. So it would appear that when you get your tree skills sharpened, I will in all likelihood just about hit the nail on the head with my initial prediction for your car.

lol

yea you were on the money. you you should go on pass time.

going again tonight. try some 3000rpm launches if i dont stall on the burnouts do you know the difference between a test and tune and a street race at the track. i dont see any difference and i know anyone can run tonight.

Not sure what that would mean at your track, man. It's been over 20 years since I've been at a track. Up here test & tune used to mean just that; not as strict with pushing people down the lanes, letting people play with stuff a little more. Street race used to mean just show up, have your car checked over, and line er' up against whoever you think you can take. Might be totally different now/at your track.
