That is just plain stupid. How many FFW events have you ever been to? It's gone because of the economy and lack of sponsors and participants...period.

Regardless of how you feel about Wheeler, FFW being gone has nothing to do with him. The turnouts for the events have been sucky for a long time before it took a crap...

Quite a few..... especially Richmond. I have never said he was the one and only but I do remember an awful lot of people not going because of FFW staff protecting him.

'Protecting him' - come on. For the latter part of the FFW life, Jim D'Amore who HATES him was an Ultra Stang sponsor and changed the rules specifically against him...lol

I'm not saying there is not drama surrounding Wheeler, but most of it is from people who have no personal experience and going off of decade old here-say and bandwagon threads.

I have had personal dealings with the guy and he is definitely a personality but he is not the evil shapeshifter he is made out to be by any stretch...

FFW falling a part had absolutely nothing to do with anybody or any group of people. It was sole economics.

I don't know what he would do if it wasn't for people like you protecting him. He had plenty of time before he was banned to respond to what I said. But it seems as tho he will only try to defend himself when his leghumpers are around.
Now in all actuality I could really care less. He's not on any forum that I am on, so I'm not going to waste any more time on him.

Sorry, I have to respond to just this one.... I remember watching when Corral and FFW got into their big e-fight and every thread that was started about SD on FFW was deleted by GK within mins. Nobody ever said he was a shapeshifter just a POS.
Now this discussion may be a decade old but I highly doubt everyone has been payed back. Maybe the select few that actually scared him into paying but I bet I could jump on a few forums and find some people that are still owed some money. Does that make him a better person now?

I just finished brokering a deal with Dan Saitz for a 2400 hp motor that SD was instrumental in making the deal happen. This was just last week by the way. Wheeler even shrugged off a 'finders fee' when offered, so I think I have a little more actual EXPERIENCE with the dude than you do.

Did he rip YOU off? If so, I'd love to hear the details. There was a time not very long ago that E & E at mod fords said I was a POS and 'swindled' them and JDM. Yeah, 'swindled' JDM when I won my case against them just as JDM was a major sponsor there and gave the owners a free blower the same time I was a moderator there to have me banned.

But guess what? Now Eric, Elise, and I are cordial and I am even a member there again. The moral of the story is there is usual some sort of politics involved with any internet BS and unless you are directly involved, you have no clue of the actual 'facts' of the BS in question. That is what I am saying in a nutshell. I'm not coming to SD's rescue - it's not my job, he is a grown man. What I am doing is giving my input based on my personal experience and I think everyone else should follow suit. It's the same as modding - if you have no experience with what you are talking about - you should just keep your mouth shut... all I'm saying.

I've sold over $60,000 worth of used modular parts over the internet over the past 3 years and you will not find a single person to come forward to say anything but good things about the transactions with me but there are a couple threads on Mod fords where E & E say I'm a 'bad guy' so that does mean I'm a POS because some old threads say so?
