so ill start whith 4 hours prior to the track trying to get the car ready. had to go get the tires mounted and balenced then i herd i needed a driveshaft safty loop so i found one and welded that up then i bought and installed a oil pressure gauge,had to fix my main harness cause i dont have a gromit so i used some electrical tape a thred tape roll(empty) and some black spray paint to make it look like there was a gromit there. i had to fix my coolent resuvar. we had to roll my fenders up to fit the wheels and it needs a lil more it rubs when i corner at a desent speed.

so i didnt quite do as good as i wanted. i wanted anywhere in the 12's tonight and i think i could have gotten there with a few more launches i was consistantly gaining a tenth every run feeling the car out. my best time was a with a

no timing advance launching about 3k no tune first time @ the track in 5 years.

i think i can get into the mid 12's with some more pratice and a harder launch and some timing on this set up but ill never know next time i go back ill have the trickflow top end roller rockers msd distrubitor vortech fuel rails maybe a new clutch and an aluminum driveshaft. i just got my intake back from being polished and it looks effin asome smooth as glass.

man my heads and intake are killin me there is so much left it the car. i cant even imagine what 11's feel like i tell u what wearing a helmet makes your head feel alot heavier i can barely keep my eyes on the track cause i am thrown back in the seat.
