man all that shit talking for a 14 second car....
One thing i dont do is talk shit about my vehicles. ... Where did i do that? If you thought i was talking racing when we meet, you were wrong man. I was saying if you kept being a jackass in my posts....come down to the track and i will give you a serious ass whopping in the parking lot. I dont mess around when people talk shit to me. The way i solve things is to beat the crap out of you. I dont talk shit to people i dont know, but when people like you come along. I think its fair game. I have no problem fighting ANYONE. I fight 2-3 weight classes up all the time at practice. So if you wanna appoligise and say sorry for telling me i derseved what i am having problems with then we can settle it and be cool....if not...you can come to the track. I may have been out of hand the other night when we talked to each other...but i do have rage problems and cant control myself sometimes..

I forgot to throw in a joke or a laugh........Dude, a civic would fuck you straight the fuck up dawg.
Well its about time!!! haha. Its funny what you say about the civic thing. I ran a prelude...we both left the lane same time, second gear side by side, then third gear came and i pulled on him...BUt not strong. Liike...just kinda saying hi and bye real quick. haha. He ran a 15.2 to my 14.8. LMAO. I feel like a loser!!! Big time. So embarrassed infact....all my buddys with ls1's that were waitng for good numbers...i told them i got rained out and didnt run. hahahaha.

As far as youre stock turbo 2.3 raping me...well yeah. Anyone who can read understands that. Even non turbo hondas could waste me right now. haha.....ive seen some weird shit....but never someone who owns a mustang make fun of another one. Now hurry up and get up to NH, so i can give you a kiss, ya big fag.

Where the heads and other parts new? Where is the timing at? Do a compression test just for piece of mind.
I got out of work late and then went to the gym. But finally i got to toying around with it.

Had timing at 16 degrees with spout out. Also had fuel pressure at 42psi.

Broke the fuel pressure down to 33psi and jumped timing up to 18....wicked lean misfires.

So i took the fuel pressure up to 38psi. Left the timing at 18 degrees. Threw the spout back in and road tested. Ran alot smoother and throttle responce was better. It felt better, but not a 102-108 trap speed. So pulled into a shopping plaza and put 20 degrees of intial timing into it and it started to ping. So i pulled into a walmart and took some back out of it.

But now its like the computer doesnt know what im doing and it jerks and bucks and doesnt like anything but WOT. If im 1/4 throttle it bucks and jerks bad. Then if i go into wide open it runs smooth. haha.

Checked compression 5,6,7,8. All have 125 compression. Was going to check 1,2,3,4 but im tired and hungry.

So thats where i stand. Still a poor running car. I guess all i have to do now is have it tuned properly.

bucking and jerking could be that f cam. its not a wild ass cam but certainly enough to make it buck at cruising speeds. I had a trickflow cam that was that way. I cant remember if it was a stage 1 or 2 cam though. Its been a few years.

Did you index the balancer when you put it together to make sure the timing marks are correct?

The F cam is a mild cam. It won't cause jerking unless there is an issue else where. I used to run alot of those cams back in the early 90s and never had a problem.

how exactly do you index a balancer? Doesnt it only go on one way? Its a Professional products balancer non sfi. There are like 5 sets of timing marks and when you stab for cylinder one, the set of marks im using are the only ones that come up.

I just drove it at work and now breaks up higher rpms. lol. Im gonna back the timng down

Im runnng out of ideas

The balancer only goes on one way but the timing marks could be in the wrong spot. If you spin the engine over and get the keyway on the balancer to the 12 o'clock position the timing marks will be lined up on the timing gears and #1 cylinder will be at top dead center on the compression stroke. The timing pointer should be at zero on the balancer. If not you might need an adjustable timing pointer.

yup, lines right up.

One thing though....i have both open breathers on my valve covers.

Causing what? a vaccum leak. Correct? If i have a open system wouldnt it think i have a vaccum leak from the intake manifold. So could i plug off the vaccum line on the intake and plug the hole in the intake? In therory having a non-traditional pcv system. except minus the lines and filter. Just have open breathers?

Let me know what you think .

Yes, if you still have the PCV hooked up you will have a vacuum leak. That could be causing the jerking at cruising speeds.
