what will i need to do to run 6.50 1/8 mile?
I have a 1986 mustang with a 358 windsor motor with 3.73 gears. the best i have ran is a 7.71 on drag radials and it was spinnings bad. I think it will run a 7.20 to a 7.50 with slick. How much nitrous will i need to run a 6.50 1/8 mile pass and i will be uses a nos cheater plate. Please help.
Thanks, Mike |

How much does your car way and what kind of power is it making now? What was your trap speed in the 1/8.

To run 6.50 you will most likely need trap speeds around 105 or better. Sounds like from your spinning problems you need to address suspension before nitrous or any power adder. Get your traction problems sorted out and I think 150 shot will get you there.

105 sounds about right. all cars are different and have different powerbands but there was a car at the 1/8th tonight that ran a high 6.4 and his trap speed was 105
