you only need a helmet with a 13.99 or faster car, but any helmet will work i think ( as long as its not a bicycle helmet)
Im getting this one: Walmart.com: Speed Racer Role Play Helmet: Action Figures When you push the button, it fuckin talks and shit. Cant beat that. I have a pic of me with it on around here somewhere |

I didn't think that putting something like that in your trunk could increase speed.

they have plenty of helmets the CORRECT helmet and with 8psi on the vortech i wouldnt expect to be breaking 13.99 to soon with a 240rwhp-250rwhp from a heater....

Don't waste your time with a 95, helmets are only "good" to most sanctioning bodies for 10 years, meaning they're not gonna let you run unless you have a Snell 2000 or 2005. Also, don't get a motorcycle helmet: they're not designed for fire or multiple impacts (you should always replace a helmet after it get's "used", but motorcycle helmets are designed for one big impact [i.e. getting thrown from the bike], whereas automotive helmets are designed against multiple smaller impacts [i.e. a rollover]).
Lastly, open-faced helmets are cooler and more comfortable, and actually suggested if your vehicle has airbags. If you've disabled the airbags or don't have them, get a full-face helmet.

I dont mean to jack the thread but i just wanted to ask a quick question. i have a bike helmet and I wrecked one time on the bike I used to have. it got scratched up good but there werent any cracks. so I kept it and I still use it when we go on canyon runs and when I go to a dragway. so do I actually need to get another one since its been through one wreck? |

make sure you get a helmet that's SNELL approved or whatever it is. some tracks are real relaxed about that requirement and others are strict on it. |
