what drag tires & wheels for 05 mustang

hi guys,

i need to choose some drag wheels and tires for an 05 mustang GT

i'd like some drag tires with larger section width and also rims for those wich will fit the original 05 mustang body! Does something fit smilar to 315 mm

section width ?

i use on my car 20" rims but i want rims and tires on 17" but somthing with high grip and with a larger width ! I need some wheels (the larger ones) wich will fit my oem body !

I run some M&H's 275/50/17's on some 17x9 bullitts, rims from American Muscle.

are these going to be for the drag strip? if so i'd go with 15 inch bogarts with some mickey thompson slicks on them. talk to forensicsteve in the 05+ forum he has those on his car. pretty sure he has to use spacers though, but just for the track it shouldn't matter.

if it's for daily driving i'd go with 18's rather than 17's.

If you don't want to drive on the track tires, go 15" with slicks.
Or be like me, I have used 17x9 cobra r wheels with 275-40-17 nitto 555 drag radial because I like to chang the tire at home and drive to the strip. The nitto's hook very well, but next time I want a 26x11.5-17 MT drag radials, more side wall.
