Nice. Probably a little cheaper than Ennis though.

Ghetto Belly run down...you don't say. It was run down when I was too young to drive (decades ago). It's a dump.

Yellow Belly is basically no rules street racing, with drunk gehttolopes walking all around the cars while they try to stage, people drinking 40's beside the track, no track prep, lots of fights/knives/guns/thugs, etc...

Big time cash betting going on all the time.

Plenty of idiots with attitude looking for trouble. Very few "real" racers. Mostly wannbes and thugs and morons.

You run a high chance of having something stolen (maybe the whole car) if you don't stay with your car the entire time.

Street racing is much safer IMO than going to YB.

It's in Dallas, which makes it convenient, but I choose to drive to Redline rather than take a nice car to Yello Belly.

Never been to it. All of us here in N Texas need to hit a strip together.

Redline is pretty good, but it's about an hour east of Dallas in Caddo Mills right off I-30 near Greenville.

North Star in Denton is also good, about an hour north of Dallas off of I-35.

Both are 1/8 mile tracks and both are solid, safe tracks with some rules and lots of decent people (unlike Yello Belly).

I've run into several forum guys at Redline.

North Star Friday nights, Redline Saturday nights for open track nights. Redline does get a lot of slicks cars, and they alternate between letting street tire/drag radial cars run and then slicks cars run, so sometimes you spend a lot of time in the lanes waiting to race. Especially when the cars keep wetting down the track and they have to clean up.

You might be in line behind a rail dragster or a ricer at Redline, you never know, but most nights you can get in lots of races between 6-12. I'm probably going to Redline on Oct 11th.

I usually go to Kennedale. They just resurfaced the track.
