if that trans am is only making 405 rwhp with a h/c/i setup even through an auto, he did a shit job putting his package together, or its very poorly tuned

Why is it so hard to belive he beat an H/C/I Trans Am? SO it must not have been the T/A guys best run....No matter how much power your car makes you still have to drive the damn thing well. Last time I was out at the track there was a blown '04 Z06 that was running low 13's. lol Does that mean that in the hands of a capable driver it would do the same? NOPE! Kudos to you OP for beating the smack talking dude in the T/A.

i would like you to post a video of a h,c,i ls1 running 10s on motor... with an auto, on street tires, and stock suspension... thats what i fucking raced... a ws6 with h,c,i stock suspension, auto, and street tires... i made a 12.5 pass when i ran him. but this past weekend ran a 12.1 pass with EXACT same setup... now... yes... i h,c,i ls1 should not be an easy race for me. my other buddy's h,c,i ls1 runs 12.0 on motor and i will be racing him in a few weeks... but if i beat him there will be some bullshit about it im sure...

he bought the car like it is... well.. actually when he got it, it had full suspension but he sold all of it.. car supposedly went 11.7 before he got it... that was on full suspension and slicks... but i didnt race it like that....
