my night at the strip
was not well. i couldn't launch with the nitto's and the farthest i stretched it was 2500rpms my fastest was 14.3@103 with a 2.35 60'. and on that run my motor decided to seize right after the 1/4 mile. its still sitting at the track and im going to pick it up tomorrow.

engine bay, wierd, a SBF will work better, and infact even mount to the K member you already have... oh and it will be cheaper with a carb on top and make twice the power for the same price...

SBF= Small Block Ford
any pushrod 289/302/351 based motor. you can go from a few hundred bucks (old carbed 5.slow) to a full blown 427 (351W based) I am putting a 351W in with hopes of a 408 stroker kit going in it... I plan on aorund 2 grand for a nice carb, nice intake, nice cam, and a C4 tranny with a stall and a brake... I hope to put around 350 to the tire with a stock headed 351W for this season with a giggle gas bottle in the back...

your car looks pretty darn sharp with the mach wheels and grill with chin spoiler. way better than a regular sixxer.
good luck
