Who has run 12's N/A with 3.73's (2v guys)
What 99-04 2v GT owners on here have been able to break 12's n/a with the stock longblock, all boltons and 3.73's? The only person I know of on here is SWEET2KSTANG. Pretty impressive if you ask me
.

with full bolt-ons and gears. i would think it would be pretty easy unless you are talking about using street tires, but even then you should be able to do it. aren't 99-04's lighter than 05+ cars

"JayC" has been running 12's for about three years now with his daily driven 2v with simple bolt ons and 3.73's
He recently added a set of VT stage 2 Cams and is now running 12.50's.

12s on a n/a 2v is not that far out of reach.. i ran 13.0 in my last gt with 3.73s, nittos, hypertech, cai, and a shifter... gotta have a driver mod though... and you cant be scared to break an axle or you will never run 12s na. lol. i launched my last car as high of an rpm that it would hook at "4500" and never broke an axle.. i launched my car now off the rev limiter on the kit the other day and didnt break an axle. it spun a tad bit though... now ill be going off the rev limiter on slicks. shooting for some 12.7-12.8 on motor...

yup.... i dont really remember how i learned how to drive.. because when i had my first gt "96" i couldn't drive that thing to save my life.. then when i got my next car its like the driver mod flopped in my lap... lol. because i let 4 other great drivers drive my car and i still outran the times that they ran... my last gt only mph' 103 but i ran a 13.0....

well... if you lay on the rev limiter for an hour yeah that will hurt... but the rev limiter is there for a reason "to keep you from hurting stuff"... so... from the point of the first yellow light to the green light is .5 sec.... that is not long enough to hurt much less if you wait till you see the 2nd light to hit the rev limiter.... we have driven a "normally 30 min drive" on the rev limiter in one of my buddys v6 to try to tear it up and we couldnt... i wouldnt suggest that but a second on the rev limiter will not hurt....
