heading to the track 2nd time
well heading to the 1/4 mile track to day for the 2nd time with the car and the first time since the new cam install last time we went it ran 10.76 at 134.8 with only 1.80 60fts. I don't think the cam is gone to help with the 60s much but I know it come up on boost faster and get to max boost faster. so I am hoping it all adds up to better ets. It is a turbo car and I am suffering from my selection of turbo verses CID. due to size. but it is what it is. will be posting times when I get home.

dang what kinda tires are you running? if you could cut at least a 1.6 then you would have a darn good time (although its already fast lol)

Well guys I went and I also lost a head gasket wide band was reading 11.4-11.0 and only had 15 degrees total timing in it so I am not sure what happened. the new cam is the SHIT it picked up my 60ft to a best of 1.66 and it ran 109 in the 1/8 I didn't get to run it all out cuz it nosed over on the far end of the track bad and slowed to 125 MPH but it still ran a 10.37 so I am happy with this I think it will run a 9 with some more tuning and I know it will with a trans. brake. any way sure hop it didn't hurt the head or worse the block. not to bad for a street car and I drove it there to day like 35 or so miles one way had to get a friend to come pick me up as I left my truck home LOL. and this thing is getting 13+ MPG right now also. Got to love a turbo.
