New to Racing Questions

It's sooo much fun. You will want to go all the time, but your car won't want you too.

I can't wait for it to get warm again already. I'm still a noob at it too but I'm getting better. Just gotta make sure you aren't in the mindset of 'Just Hammer it', there's some real finesse needed to get good consistent times.
That finesse is hard to get in touch with but the more you do it the better you will get.

only if its not shared with time trials for sat's race ( local tnt is firday nights, starting 6.30 - 7 pm )

i wont dude. the blacks out there video tape for motnhs before they gamble, and they bet about 500 bucks on my uncles car per run

yea ask icantdo55 about them gambleing, they got pissed at him, he was up against some slow car and his car ended up dieing on the line haha.

i know i wont. i dont know the local drag group good enough to know the cliques yet. it is pretty spearated from ford and gm guys. mopar guys are few and far between and the rice is just an annoyance. that is one of my hesitants about racing there- i have a v6 mustang and i dont want to piss off the warriors

i hear ya, come monday i will be done with this headers ordeal and enjoying the comforting sounds of insanity on the road. sooner than later i will start getting to the track saturdays after work possibly. after bmx racing, i wanted to move up to the next step in racing- cars. so i am infatuated with the sport, i just need the opportunities to present themselves

eh, if there are ricers, the warriors are more or less annoyed with the ricers... at least you got american muscle, just not v8

and you can always tell them of your plans for a gt/cobra in a couple of years ( yeah, i know, you say ~7 years or so, but they wont know

they know me though personally, because of my uncle and his contacts, and they respect me and my car because they are gearheads at heart and working on anything automotive interests them. i never really cared about fitting in before, but this is a group of people i will end up spending most of my free hobby time with, so i dont want to be an annoyance
