it just seems hard to throw the shifter into the right place when shift without using some major elbow grease sometimes

your clutch is def fucked its slipping and grabbing. or your linkage is binding big time.

i didnt use an alignment tool when putting my trans back in...and i have no clutch problems...my throwout bearing or a plate in the clutch was bent i noticed when i took the trans out which makes a noise at low rpms when the rpms go down enough i will hear a knock then gassing it slow back up i will hear that same knock...i have to upgrade the clutch when the blower is on but could be something with the trans fluid or the gears inside

no you see the clutch isnt slipping at at all....like when i acutally get it shifted into gear it grabs fine...and no i didnt use and alignment tool becasue of the fact that i didnt drop the bellhousing when switching the t/o bearing....i managed to fit my hand and arm through the bellhousing opening to switch it out while the bellhousing was still mounted...so i didnt need to mess with any of the alignment stuff....but i think i may be somewehere along the lines of what was said above with the linkage binding up....how do i check/fix that problem?

Does it stick in all gears or is it just binding in one or 2

All t-5 trannies you should put in in 4th and then slide it right in rev I have had 7 different Mustangs 2 95s and 5 fox bodies they have all been that way from brand new to 158000 miles

I can hear the t/o bearing in my 95 and it is also had to shift, Out of the Mustangs I have owned and driven this one is the slowest one of all I am wondering if the clutch and/or tranny could be some of the problem ANY IDEAS
