Tranny Questions


Hey Guys i got a 94 GT and i cracked the back tail piece of the tranny i was racing my buddy and we took off at 65 and i looked down at my speedo and it was at 145 but i was only goin 125 cause i have 4.10 posi and i was lookin at the driveshaft and i notice it was rough when i moved the yolk back and forth and i had a u joint out would that cause it to break????

A seized u-joint/stuck pins could have caused this but usually they are the point of failure rather then your slip yolk or the tranny.
