Yeah the option of installing a overdrive unit on the back of a C4 is possible..... I'm gonna start looking at the option of a 4L100.

I'm not sure yet I'm not dead set on doing the swap yet and really have no idea what I want.

computer will take to it just fine. you will have to have the auto stuff unlocked and get a wire harness for the auto. me and doc just did a auto to manual swap in his mach. i dont know if he has the write up done on it yet, but he has all the pics from it too. he is going to be selling all the auto stuff off his car soon except for the wiring harness. you can modify the harness for the auto to manual, but not manual to auto. there are a lot more wires on the auto harness.

the cobra computer has parameters for an auto, it just has to be unlocked.

i dont know what kind of tuner you may have, doc sent his diablo to houston performance and they took care of tuning for the swap. as for the twisties, the auto's is a pain to work with. manual down shifting lead to the demise of doc's; 4r trannys dont hold line pressure.

Its a diablo but will be recieving an SCT before it is tuned. If I continue playing in the corners I will stay with the T56.
