Water Temp Guage issue
Im hooking up a mechanical water temp guage (the cheap brand from Advance Auto Parts), and Ive finally routed it to its location. However, the actual sensor is too long, not allowing me to get any threads on it to tighten it to the motor.
The actual sensor being the metal bit on the end of the cable, but is it a solid peice? And if so, would it not read or read incorrectly if I shaved off 1/2" off it? Any insight or input is appreciated.
