i can help you through the forum?. i am putting an autopage rs-1000 in my car. some on tryed to break into my trunk the other day. they must have been hungry all i had was a box of granola bars.

If your not extremely familiar with your vehicles wiring system i would not attempt installing an alarm. You will also need a few different sets of schematics to find all the wires to tap into for the alarm.

This is what my car looked like mid install when my friend and i installed my viper alarm and it was worse in person. the wires draped all the way back over to the passenger side cause we mounted the brain unit behind the glove box. Know what your getting into if you want to try somethin like this.

I say DEI, they make Viper, Avital, Clifford, Hornet, Python, and a whole lot of other stuff. Check out their web site for more info on their products

The only reason why I would go with them is if you get installed by a professional then the unit carries w/ it a lifetime warranty so that if anytime that you own the product and it fucks up then they will either one replace it with the same one or if that model is no longer available then they will give you something that is comparable to the unit that you have.

lol i know nothing on the wiring section .. nor do i know where the wires are located LOL . anyways how much would estimate be around if i wanted circuit city to install it?

I don't advise circut city if you don't have to. They are good for straight forward stuff, but for an alarm, I'd try to find a local shop that specializes in these things. Just my $.02.

If you are getting a DEI alarm like Viper I would get it installed by a professional and not buy form ebay. DEI products come with lifetime warrenties BUT only if installed by a professional. I have a Viper 771 but have a problem with my car and dont know if the alarm caused it. Had the alarm put in by Best Buy. If the alarm caused my wiring problem DEI will pay for repairs. Best Buy will be giving me a new alarm and install it for free again.

Best Buy or Circuit City DO NOT chanrge for installation.

Could have sworn that I just said that. J/P but as long as you buy it from Circuit they will install it for free same thing goes with Best Buy just be aware that there are probably other things that will be needed if you are going to try and d remote start (as long as its not manual). I am an installer and know all these things.
