check the connection to your battery usually the clock resets when the battery has been disconnected.

like the connection on the clock or to the battery itself? the clock is the only thing that i have problems with so..pop the clock out and check the wiring and if so does it just pop out or do i have to take the radio and bezel and all that good shit out

No just go to your battery and make sure the terminals are tightened and there is no frayed wire or anything. If the battery terminals are loose then it might just be resetting the clock and radio when you stop and such.

Yeah most aftermarket radios keep your settings and time even if power is cut, so thats why the clock is all you notice.

possibly a loose power wire to the clock? Take it out and see if anything is frayed. But looseing power is the only way it will reset.
