first off u want the rca on the opposite side of the car as the power and remote wire.... the rca, i ran on the passenger side under the carpet alone, and the power and remote i ran on the driver side under the carpet also... its easiest to peel the plastics up and slide the wires under the carpet

You will run your power wire through the inside of your car under the carpet all the way through the firewall...Just ground it somewhere in your trunk...

guy above me... BAD IDEA all over it
How big of a wire are u running and you should find a place within 3 feet of amp... not back to the battery I have wired up about 15 stereos and they all sound great!!! the best place i found has been the seat belt bolt from the rear seats... its usually the best place if u plan on having the amp against the back seats post pics of where u want it and i can find the best place to run it too... Hope it helps

I always mount my ground onto one of the bolts under the carpet in the trunk. Undo it sand around prep so no rust n shit n bolt back on. Keeps it neat looken too. But that was in my old honda. I got the mach sound in the stang. Keepen it stock! Run the wires like those guys said but make sure you run the power on the same side as the batery cuz its easyer. Then just run it through the fire wall. Works for me but who knows?!?

I always clear the paint away in the trunk under the carpet somewhere that is solid and then screw a ring to that spot with three screws. Just make sure you dont use too long of screws and beware of where the gas tank is.

Shorter ground wire the better.I almost always use a huge power wire and end up running it totally under the car in the frame rails or along the (gotta secure them real good though) rails. And yeah the side your batt is on is most always the side you should run ur power on.RCA on other side of car or you get that nice buzzing that goes with your RPM's(Did you say you wanted an AUDIBLE Tach?!!!!).I llike to make my own ground location a big self-tapping screw and a washer, bare the metal though.

I just put my ground up by the rear lights, not exactly right on it but near it. Never had any troubles.
