although sometimes it's nice to try to keep all the same brand when putting together a sound system...it's not always gonna sound the best. u have to mix and match and u can achieve a great sound system. and another factor is wat kind of music u listen to bc dif brands specialize in dif areas

I am savin up for it but I dunno what a good setup cost, so I dunno what to say for a budget, It doesn't have to be top of the line, but I want it to sound good, so whatever u think it may cost for a decent setup.

You could do something as simple as one 12" ported in a large enclosure...

Or something as crazy as 4 12's sealed.....

If you use ebay: Anywhere from 450 to Unlimited$

get u a decent head unit brand doesnt really matter - 150 to 300 is a decent range

2 12's - car domain.com has amazingly low prices for great stuff i paid 180 for 2 power akustics.

sealed custom fit box off ebay - anywhere from 140 to 350

decent amps range from 200 - 500 depending on wattage and dependability.

with amps make sure u get one with enough watts to max the subs out without going tooo far over and when u set it up dont turn the amp up all the way. and with high watt amps make sure its physically large. if the surface area is too small it wont dissipate heat fast enough and will cut out for short durations.

Whats regular?
A regular pair of 12s to me cost between 4 and 900$ -

More specific. What are you trying to accomplish? do you want it loud? on a scale of 1 to 10 how loud do you want it? Do you want good sound quality & loud? Or do you just want Loud. (sound quality being how good your subs reproduce bass notes)
