15" In A New Edge


i got a couple of jl audio w3v2s im thinking about putting in my stang. if anyone has a setup close i would love to see some pics. im still wondering how they will fit in there.

yeah but no,depends on the box size,i know i had a hard time getting a 15 inch type r in my 00 gt,dunno bout 2 of them

prolly would have to put one on each side of the trunk...def. not gonna have much trunk space left

why not fiberglass it into the spare tire well? i did this with two 10s

how do you figure that?

ive owned all different sizes and brands of speakers. trust me these are louder than most 12s and deff louder than any 12s on the same level

i hate 12's imo they sound extremely sloppy, even the clean ones. 10's rule!

you talking about sony 12's cali?

and you wont have enough trunk space to get two 15's in a mustang.. even sealed it'd be a waste. i barely had a big enough box in mine for 1 15.

and i dont think 15's are "Louder" than smaller subs, you feel a harder hit because of the bigger diameter of surface being push'd.

and think of it like this... the bigger the car (space in the trunk/hatch) the bigger/more subs you can fit... but it all has to equal out. 2 15's in a mustang would be pointless unless you close off the trunk and use it as a box.. alot of work though.

you can buy a box specifically for stangs i know that scorpion and audio enhancers make them usually run between 95 an 115 for a dual 12 box and they are made 2 fit looks very clean imo

i didnt ask if you guys like 15"s or if its the best setup. im asking if its been done before. i know i can make them fit and work. i had a friend with kicker comp 15s in a notch so i know it can be done.

if your posting to tell me what i want is wrong then gtfo!
