or you can just do it yourself at home like I did. this box isn't a world class piece of art, but it gets the job done. (pics below). The inside was sealed with silicone, then sprayed with a rubberized undercoating, the edges were glued, and then screws driven into make it airtight.

here's a calculator to figure out what size dimensions of a box will work for your subs, yet fit in your trunk.

Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators

up close it has it's imperfections. but it gets the job done, I had to get in through the back seat, and it's bolted down to the trunk so if someone wants to get it, they're gonna have a hell of a time getting it.

If you go a Solo baric they need to be in a ported box. And a slot port is gonna be the best way to go. A ported box is gonna be much more difficult since now you're dealing with tuning frequencies, a limited size trunk, and port noise, but IMHO it's gonna sound WAY better.

You don't need a ported box. And its not gonna sound better, just louder.
Think a ported box is hard in a stang, wait till you see my new project...

I might be able to get you a Kicker amp at less then cost if you let me know before hand. When I worked at Circuit City we got what was called accomodations. It means we could buy Kicker equipment straight from Kicker at less then Cicuir City's cost. If you want I could see if one of my buddies there can order them for me and I'll ship them to you and you could reimburse me.
Hey busher, i was just wondering if you'd still be able to check this out for me. I not sure yet if i want to get the sound system now or do my suspension up on my car. So im just kinda seeing what each of these car going to cost me and then make my decision. So if you buddy is still at circuit city then see what a 10" L7 Kicker sub will cost me. And then im going to need and AMP( SX650.1 or ZX750.1, i dont care which one, which ever one you think is better for me, Keep in mind im on a budget)
and all the wires and stuff. So basically if you can just get a price on everything i will need to make this system work that would be great. If you can no longer get a deal dont worry about it man.

Thanks
