Question

Where to buy Mach 460 head unit and CD?

Anyone know where to buy the stock Ford Mach 460 head unit and CD player?

Another question is this: My car came with the Mach 460 system, but without the CD deck for whatever reason, so if I get the CD deck too, what harness PN# will I have to add and where to get it?

I've had some good after-market H/U's but the last Kenwood I had kept running my battery dead and I'm just sick of the mismatch and want to go back to stock.

FWIW, the last Kenwood just wouldn't make any bass with the stock mach amps and speakers.

if i were you, i'd get a good quality headunit from crutchfield.. the jvc unit i bought to go with my mach 1000 system was over 129 so it came with the dash kit and harness free .. the harness allowed me to keep the nice bass output and actually sounds better than the ford radio...

I'd really rather go back to stock and save the hassle.

But FWIW, I bought a cheap JVC once for it and it was better sounding bass wise than this $450 Kenwood. The Kenwood sounds more clear though.

Is yours like my Kenwood and others to where it just won't play bass as well as the stock h/u did?

Something just isn't right with the way after-market h/u's sound hooked to the Mach 460 system.
