HID problems

I bought a HID kit the other day and installed them. Everything was working fine till I took the car on the road. sometimes when I hit a bump in the road the lights flicker and sometimes they even turn off for a few seconds
and come back on. What could be the problem. Loose wire, bad connection, fuse, or something else?

Sounds like a loose wire connection or a bad ballast. Are both lights going in/out at the same time?

If both ballasts are connected to the same wire, I would say to start there. If not, it sounds like you may need a relay to boost the juice. If it is a single ballast system, I would look at the ballast.

fixed the problem. I have a different battery from stock and its smaller and slides around in the battery holder a little and it was hitting the wires. So I fixed the battery so it wouldnt slide and I havent had any problem since then

Where did you get your HID kit?

Im having a similar problem, except mine seems to be the bulb moving on the driver side. Even tho its so secure I would have to force it out of the housing. I call for mine bein the housing... think it might just be a poorly constructed bulb.
