Rockford power speakers

So I have the 6x8 Rockford speakers 75 RMS. and Rockford recommends adding a Rockford power amp for the best quality. Is this true? Because I was thinking of adding a 500/1 JL amp for my JL sub, and later adding another JL multichannel amp for my speakers. I was trying to go for the cleanest look, and the cleanest sound.

This is the Rockford amp I was looking at

and this is the JL amp I was looking at for my 75 RMS RF power speakers.

Well in my opinon i havent had to many problems without useing an amp for my interiors, it depends on what your trying to do, when i had my 95 explorer i had pionner interiors all the way around using a "Sherwood" 4 channel amp pushing about 500 watts rms with a jvc deck and 2 15" rockford fasgate competition subs with a 2 channel 1200 watt rms P/A amp and 2 12" jl subs pushed by a rockford fasgate 1000 watt rms amp...the result...well i blew out the rear window 3 times and the side window 1 time....the cops were called on me all the time and i have gotten about 6 or 7 tickets for loud music....now for playing music like that then you deff want to amp it..if it's just a nice sound that your looking for and you dont want all the attention then i wouldnt waste the time & money on the interiors...in my opinon it's all about how much you want the system for you vs. how much you want the system to show you off....now that i sold that truck i have an 01 cougar with my jl 12's with the P/A amp with stock interiors and it's sounds good, i'm not drawing a crowd but it still sounds nice with no distortion...thats just my 2 cents

May have a problem at higher volumes if your head unit is not giving enough power to the speakers but you shouldn't have a big problem.

I'm not going for loudness or spl. My main goal is listening to my music with the best quality.

If you just want it to sound nice at normal volume levels and you have a decently new head unit (within the last 3 years) you should have no problem without amping the interiors

the biggest thing with adding an amp for the door speakers is being able to use the high pass filter so the speakers dont try to play the low notes that the sub is taking care of.

as well as it will likely have a cleaner sound then just deck power.

you dont have to use a rockford amp. jl makes nice amps. pretty pricey but they sound great. any decent 4 ch amp with a HPF and some level of tuning options will be fine.

yeah you wouldnt have to use the amp but if you want to both rf and jl amps are great amps as long as you set the gain right and have the speakers set up right you will get a great sound

thanks guys, I think that, when I eventually get my 4 channel amp, I will go with JL. nothing against rockford, love the speakers I have now. but I would like a cleaner look with the amps. and I've got a friend who is a huge audiophile who can adjust the tuning on the speakers] to sound amazing.
