Door Panel Removal

I have a speaker that is rattling in my 2002 and I have tried to remove my passenger side door panel, but am having some problems. Here is what I have done...what step am I missing?

1.) Popped off plastic assembly around window/lock controls
2.) Removed plastic fastener on front, lower part of door panel near the speaker.
3.) Pulled up on door panel to try to remove...no luck.

Are there any other screws that need to be removed? Or more hidden plastic clips anywhere?

Any help is appreciated, the speaker is annoying the heck out of me.

yes, you have to remove your inside door handle, and there should be 2 screws behind them! thats how it is on my 98 anyway

Yeah, I looked at that...how do I get the door handle off?

Please excuse the ignorance. I really appreciate the help. This speaker is driving me nuts and I love the car too much not to drive it because of it.

well, if it is like my 98, the plastic covering should just pop off, the your window buttons, should pop off as well, slide those to things out of the way, and the screws should be exposed, they are little phillips heads, i think 3 or so.... hope that helps!

you dont have to pop your handle off. just take the 2 black screws out and grab each side of the pannel and lift up. it should come off prety easy.

yeah the two screws behind the handle insert and the door pin. then just lift up and it should unhook then just pull on the door handle as if to open it and it should slide right off other then that just making sure the button wiring harnesses don't get in the way. go to mustangworld.com i think they have a little video setion of taking the door panels off
