Yes I had this problem. THe Mach headunit is complete garbage...

you can cheaply fix it your self, but titll only work for a few times. I suggest saving some money for a new headunit.

to fix it take the headunit out and take it apart to where you can see the decks for the cds. check the springs and the alignment on each deck. MOre than likly your problem is ognna be in the alignment of the decks. Put it back together and find a new one on the web or at a retail store

simple and easy fix, i've done it countless times when this happens.. turn the car on or turn the ignition so you get power to your accessories.. well, turn your stereo on, doesn't have to be on cd function, normal radio will do just fine, now pull the fuse for the radio, i forget which number it is specifically but i can tell you by looking since i've done it so often, look in your manual.. pull the fuse, the radio should cut off, i usually put it back in and pull it back out a couple times, then put it back in the final time, you'll more than likely hear the clanking on the interior of it as it moves around and detects and reads the cds you have loaded

well today it started working again... but i'll do that the next time it does that! Why would ford put such a trashy stereo/cd changer in there.. They should take some notes from volkswagon. .those stereo's are crazy stock!

um, like I said, you pay shipping. other wise it is going in th trash. No worries though.

as to the replacement, it is just some cheap piece of crap Sony. but hey, it has a aux in, and full sped Ipod controls and 3 sets of RCA pre-outs for my amps. nothing fancy, but in my opinion a lot better than the Mach 4shitty.

yeah, lol.. i've contemplated getting a new deck many times but for now i like the 6 disc functionality and even though it might be a pain, i can live with removing and replacing a fuse every several months
