ok i know this is in the wrong section but i need help now so please leave it here where people look for a while.
ok every time i turn my stereo off my subs keep getting a ton of feedback in them. they make a loud horrible noise. they don't do it when the stereo is on they play music and play it well but when i turn the stereo off they start getting feedback again. what is wrong? i have never experienced this problem. help please

Hmm, I really don't know. If I had to guess, the first thing I would check would be my ground... is it located near your power wire? I think I've read somewhere that it could cause a problem, maybe feedback?

What time of wires are you using? Did you run your power on one side and ground on the other side or together? If your using cheap wires that could be the problem. Or it could just be the amp turning off and causing your subs to pop.

do you have an aftermarket system running off of your stock head unit with a line out converter? Power and ground can be on the same side just as long as your signal wires are not on the same side as your power.

If your running on the stock system (mach), when you turn the radio off the amp for the sub is still on. Correct? Well your amp for the subs is no getting audio when the radio is off so it starts to put out this loud tumping in niose bc the amp is no and not getting audio.

Couple things that many fix the problem is:

Put an aftermarket deck in there( aftermarket deck will have a remote turn on so when you turn the deck off the amp will turn off too. And to it will sound a whole lot better with having a sub control)

or

I have done this in my shop bc i seen this problem alot if your installing amp and subs on a factory premuim sound system. Put a switch on the remote wire for the amp so you can turn it off when you turn the radio off it is an easy way out. Or put a ground loop isolator on the RCAs(noise filter).

Any of these things should stop your problem. And Remember to keep your ground wire as short as possible.
