They can be moved, just make sure all the wires get hooked up again. I would assume he doesn't have the Mach 1000 since he's installing a sub and the 1000 already has that.

If you bought your box, and it is a dual 12, from your local best buy or circuit or what have you it is not going to fit. Not unless it is custom made.

If you do relocate your mach amps and remount the speakers to the mental on the rear deck and stil cant get the box to fit. Try this take the back sit completly out( bottom and the back) and slide the box in from the inside of your car instead of the trunk lid opening.

not going to work. the opening is just as small as the trunk opening.

It's a little bigger, but still won't work by the sounds of it. Hate to say this, but you just need a smaller box. Be aware that when you remove the rear deck, you will have the speaker openings that will let exhaust noise get into the car unless you cover/seal them. It will at the same time let the bass filter into the car much louder.

It has worked in my shop couple of times, im able to slide the boxes in side ways then turn it. To it depends on how big the box is but you can get a better angle on it instead of going throught the trunk lid opening.

12s just look huge in the trunk of a mustang anyways. I like the quailty of the 10 woofer for the music i listen too.

Yeah weve done it at my shop too but the number one thing is who made it. You are not gonna fit any "properly ported" dual 12 box in there and especially not a band pass. if it is sealed then you have a slim chance, but like I said it depends on who made it, or how big it is.

I also prefer 10's over 12's. They just sound so much crisper and cleaner.
