Amp Bridging Help

I have a kenwood amp with these specs
#
Class D Monoblock Amplifier
# Maximum Output Power: 1000 watts
# RMS Power Output:

* 300 watts x 1 channel @ 4 ohms
* 500 watts x 1 channel @ 2 ohms

# 2 ohm stable
# Frequency Response: 5 Hz-200 Hz
# Low-Pass Filter: 50 Hz-200 Hz, 24 dB/Octave
# Variable Input Sensitivity: 200 mV - 5 V
# Line Output Terminals for Extension
# Infrasonic Filter: 15 Hz, 25 Hz, 18 dB/Octave
powering two kenwood subs with these specs

*
Two 10" Subwoofers with 4-ohm voice coil
* stainless steel-coated polypropylene cone with rubber surround
*
power range: 50-300 watts RMS (1000 watts peak power)
*
frequency response: 30-800 Hz

# sealed box volume: 1.0 cu. ft.
# ported box volume: 1.25 cu. ft.
# Power Handling:

* 300 watts RMS per sub
* 1000 watts Peak per sub
* 2000 watts Peak per pair

and i would like to bridge it to a power acoustik amp wit these specs
* Full Selectable Crossover Hi/FULL/Low * Three Way Protection Circuit * 2 Ohm Stable Stereo * Tri-Mode Capable * Variable Low Pass: 40Hz-250Hz * Variable High Pass: 40Hz-250Hz

i would like to use the power acoustik to power

2 6x8 4 ohm pioneer premiers, 2 beyma rf one with 110w peak power , or two alpine 6x8 power range: 2-75 watts RMS (230 watts peak power)

when i bridged the power acoustik and the kenwood the subs would beat for a few seconds then stop and one of the two speakers connected to the power acoustik would play significantly louder than the other

whats the problem here?

um you cant "bridge" two amps together...

you can bridge the 2-4 channels on one amp to one channel for more power,

or you can daisy chain amps but that simply means connect them to the same audio and power source to play two different subs.

ok i understand now.

do you have both amps grounded to the same spot? thats a good place to start

also try to switch around the line in from one amp to the other

what gauge wire do you have running to the distribution bock then from there to the amps?

sound like you should be fine with the size of power wires. check all your fuses too.

also try to connect only one amp at a time and see if the same problem occurs.

not to be a dick. but, most people drive their stuff way too hard. maybe you should also check the levels on the amps. you shouldn't have to set the gain any higher than a little more than half way to get a decent sound. if you do, you need a bigger amp. but what you described should be fine for running those subs.

like was mentioned before, check your ground. the best place to ground an amp or amps is a seat bolt. anything that bolts to the frame is gonna be your best source for a solid ground. be sure it's free from paint and rust too.

other than setting the gain properly and ensuring you have a good ground, check ALL of your wiring. from the battery to the amps, and from the head unit on back. a grounded signal wire can cause serious headaches with an audio system.

good luck on it.

^^^ that sounds like a power issue. I would meter the power at the input of you distribution block and see what it is. Several amps draw a lot of amps and if you cant keep the power they need they will shut down. Also when they act up, are there any lights on the amp that light up?

well i sort of fixed the problem for now

i wired two alpine type s 6x8 and 2 pioneer 6x8s to the power acoustik amp
and left the subs how they were

they worked fine and sounded great until the volume got to 20 or above
when i turned the volume above 20 usually around 22 or 23 the subs would quit but the amp for the subs would stay on and the 6x8s would keep working fine
if i turn it down the subs come back and dont miss a beat subs are brand new and work great without the second amp

also i didnt connect the amps through the line in/line out
i used a high low converter to get the RCA's from the rear speaker wires coming from the headset
