Why is this motor being pulled out? Was it in a wreck?...Did the motor blow?

People with toomuch money. LOL No he dacided he needed an LSX motor and a turbo. We pulled a head to check cylinders and it still has cross hatching and everything looks great. Really I just wanted to see the combustion chamber design and how the port looks since the new GM motors are killing ford motors. Sad to say.

They are apples and oranges my friend. Give me a 6.0 SOHC GT motor and see what kinda power that would be. But since thats not the market that car is even in..it doesnt exist. But i wont defend the gt 500. I think ford fucked up on that.

I think Ford needs an actual big block style motor again. And then do what chevy did with the ZR1 corvette and supercharge that!! The GT500 is fairly fast stock but lucky for us no-one leaves it alone and they put the tune it should have had and the pulley and exhaust ford should have done. But thats just my opinion. LOL

Exactly! I dont know bout the new ford vs. gm motors but the older versions 351 vs. 350 you could make more power out of the 351 than the 350.

true but this is new age and the new motors make more power with less weight than our old motors.
