Main Bearing Girdle


Hi..

The motor in my car is coming out this weekend to start the hci and sc setup to be installed,,as well as car goes to the paint shop,going black with
blue pearl ghost flames,, anyways,,are main bearing girdles and windage trays a good idea on a sc'd car?

A main girdle will help the crank stay in the block if you grenade the engine. They don't do much for strength. I do run one on my motor just so if I do blow it up I don't run the crank over in the process.
